This Privacy Policy explains how [RAZÓN SOCIAL] ("Brilai", "we" or "us"), with registered address at [CALLE Y NÚMERO, COLONIA, C.P., CIUDAD, ESTADO, MÉXICO], collects, uses and shares personal information when you use https://brilai.app. We are based in Mexico and comply with Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP, 2025) and other laws that apply to you.

1. Information we collect
- Contact information: your email address and, if you choose to add it, your name (shown on your certificates).
- Learning profile: your answers to the initial quiz (job, AI usage, goals, available minutes), assigned level, learning path, language and time zone.
- Usage data: lessons completed, scores, streaks, sparks, certificates and preferences.
- Billing data: your plan, subscription status, billing and renewal dates, and customer and subscription IDs from our payment processor. We never collect or store your card number: Stripe, Inc. collects and processes it directly.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, campaign parameters (utm) and usage events, through cookies and similar technologies (see section 7).
- Communications: messages you send to our support team.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information. Please don't share it with us.
2. How we use your information
To provide the service:
- Create and manage your account and sign you in with a one-time code sent to your email.
- Assign your level and personalize your learning path based on your quiz answers.
- Process payments and manage your auto-renewing subscription, including receipts.
- Give you access to lessons, track your progress, streaks and sparks, and issue your certificates.
- Answer your questions and requests.
- Keep the service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
Optional purposes (you can opt out at any time without losing access):
- Send you promotional emails and offers, including up to five emails with discounts in the days after you complete the quiz without subscribing.
- Analyze how the site is used to improve it and measure our advertising.
To opt out, use the "unsubscribe" link in any promotional email or write to [privacidad@tudominio.com]. We honor opt-outs promptly and always within 10 business days.
3. How we share your information
We use service providers that process data on our behalf and under our instructions. Some are located in the United States:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information when required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
4. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or stop using your personal information for specific purposes, and you can withdraw your consent. Depending on where you live (for example, in certain US states), you may have additional rights, and you will not be discriminated against for exercising them.
To make a request, email [privacidad@tudominio.com] with your name, the email you signed up with and a description of your request. We may ask you to verify your identity. You can also update your name, language and learning path directly in your Profile.
5. Data retention
We keep your information while your account is active or as needed for the purposes above. Quiz leads who don't subscribe are kept for up to 12 months. Billing records and records of your consent to auto-renewal are kept for the periods required by tax, consumer protection and other applicable laws (at least three years for auto-renewal consent records). Then we securely delete them.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
We use session cookies to keep you signed in, your browser's local storage to save your quiz progress and chosen plan, and analytics tools (PostHog) to understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings; some features, like staying signed in, may stop working.
8. Children
Brilai is intended for adults 18 and over. Minors may use it only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian, who must purchase the plan. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
9. International transfers
We are based in Mexico and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries, with protections required by applicable law.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version on https://brilai.app with its date and, for material changes, notify you by email.
